The 3 camera settings that comprise the Exposure Triangle are Shutter Speed, Aperature and ISO

On the back monitor of our Canon DSLR cameras, the aperture setting is displayed with “F” followed by a number.

1/4000 at f5.6 ISO 800 for bursting water balloon

Apertures (from smallest openings to largest openings) are typically numbers f/2_, f/4_, f/5.6_, f/8_, f/11_, f/_16, f/22_

The shutter speed settings are shown on the top __Left__ (left or right?) on the back monitor.

Expressed as fractions of a second, the shortest or highest shutter speed on our cameras are seconds and the longest or slowest shutter speed is _seconds.

Examples of Shutter speeds (not in order)

1/40 f111 ISO 400 for motion blur

are1/1000 , 1”, ⅛”. 1/60/ 1/500, 1/4000, 1/125, ½, 1/30,1/2000,1/250, (arrange these in order when you put them in your blog post)

The third setting ISO controls the camera’s sensitivity to light

This setting goes from 100,200,400,800,1600,3000 on our cameras.

Finally for the 3rd picture, we learned how to securely fasten a camera to a tripod to take a picture showing a ghost-like image.

This picture of kara was taken using 2 sec ISO 100 f13 2
